2 Corinthians 2:14 “Now thanks be unto God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ…”
As one who believes in the finished work of redemption through Christ Jesus, you are destined to win. Your life may not reflect that currently and you probably may not believe it wholeheartedly, but it is nonetheless true. Paul reveals that in Christ, Godalways causes us to triumph. If this were true this would mean that no matter what challenges you face in life, they are not over until you have the victory. Herein is one of the principles of faith; it holds on to the promise of God’s Word until it is manifested.
I once heard it said that the game for us does not stop because time is up, God is the umpire, and because of that, we play until we win. I challenge you to have the attitude of a champion. A champion never quits. Have the resolve within you that whatever God has promised you, He will sure make it manifest in your life. Don’t let the negativity around you keep you at bay, rather keep getting up and keep fighting. “For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise up again” (Prov.24:16).
Take a stance today. Go back to the areas where you once saw the vision of victory, and this time approach it with the attitude of a champion. There’s no defeat for you until you accept defeat. Accepting defeat is contrary to your nature because Christ rose victorious against the greatest enemy the world has ever known. If you are in Christ, you are also a partaker of the same victory, therefore act like it!
