2 Corinthians 4:13 “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,”we also believe and therefore speak…“
To the believer, it’s nothing new that the life we live is a life of faith (2 Cor.5:7). Faith simply means acting in confidence based on what God has said, despite the non existence of physical evidence to back up the action. So the believer’s life ought to be one that’s in constant partnership with a Divine God, trusting fully in His person, and in the integrity of His words.
It’s important to understand that first and foremost, God’s love for His children is beyond what any words that can be intellectually conceived. So we can trust in Him all the way despite the contrariness of circumstances that face us on a day to day basis. There’s nothing that comes against us that God has not already prepared a solution for. He desires for us to live victorious lives in every situation. The key to victory in all things is the life of faith. 1 John 5:4 says “whatever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, faith!”
So what do we do to practically live this life of victory? We have to learn faith! It all begins with fellowship. We must learn to daily acknowledge the presence of God (Ps.5:3). Not only that, but we must expect to receive leadership from Him within our hearts. God leads us through the inner man (Rom.8:14,16). Secondly we must learn to walk in the light of the realities of the word of God. Romans 10:17 says “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” The voice of faith is the voice of God that’s heard in time of fellowship in God’s presence, or the voice that’s heard beyond the written words on the pages of Scriptures. It’s this voice that causes men to dare the impossible; it’s the words of this voice that we must declare in the face of adversity.
Do you desire a life of victory? Begin to practice these truths, and when you hear the voice of faith, begin to declare boldly the words of this voice, and your circumstances will bow!
