Jeremiah 32:17 (NKJV) “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You”
As we go through life, we sometimes run into seemingly impossible situations that attempt to get the best of us. In such situations, some people break down emotionally, and some draw back in their relationship with God, while others use such situations as a means to prove their faith. In moments where the challenges of life seem impossible to overcome, we need to stop, look around at the beauty of God’s creation, the stars, the vastness of the sky, the changes in season etc, and with a sigh say, “‘Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You”. After much consideration, indeed there is nothing too hard for God, and we have Him as an ever present help.
Jesus told His disciples, and the same applies to us, that they will face tribulations and trials, but they should rejoice because He overcame (Joh.16:33). When God spoke to Abraham telling him that Sarah will be with child, she laughed, and we see in Genesis 18:14, God asked “is there anything to hard for the LORD?”. God has promised to never leave us nor forsake us, which gives us the boldness to stand knowing that He will help us. No matter what the challenge is, you can with boldness call upon Him and He will reveal secret things to you that will put you over your challenging circumstance (Jer.33:3).
God is limitless, and all powerful. Your faith in Him through Jesus Chris, is what is required for you to lead a victorious life. Do you just go through your day without acknowledging the ever present help in the person of the Holy Spirit? Do you call upon Him in times of tough situations or do you reach for your phone book or the internet? Make it a point to acknowledge His presence, and take Him at His Word, ask for solutions, trust in Him and be at peace.
