Isaiah 43:1-2 …“ Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.
Are you currently stuck in a situation where it seems like there’s no light at the end of the tunnel? Have past achievements or failures stopped your from moving on to greater things? God is saying to you, like he said to Israel; “fear not! I have redeemed you”. The battle or struggle is over; you have victory in Christ Jesus.
We know from scriptures that whatever is born of God overcomes through faith (1 John 5:4). Situations cannot defeat you. Tough times cannot consume you. He will be with you! When you walk through fire you shall not be burned! Afflictions cannot hold you down. You might be saying “ I am hard pressed on every side”, remember in whatever situation you find yourself, you remain unconquered. In Christ you triumph always. You should see tough times as light afflictions that are only for a moment and opportunities to work your faith muscles.
Fill yourself with the word of God. We know from scriptures that the word of God is living and power. Stand your ground in those tough times by speaking the word of God. Write out confessions based on scriptures. In case you did not know, you were declared the winner before this situation started. Walk in your victory and remember the struggle is over. God is doing a new thing. He is making roads in your wilderness and rivers in your desert. He has promised that you shall not be destroyed by the harsh elements, but as you remain in faith, you will emerge victorious!
