Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV “The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.”
Have you ever been in a situation when you are doing all that you know to do as it relates to the kingdom but all hell seems to be break loose against you? You have prayed, you have fasted, etc but nothing seems to change? It is at such times you need to pause and find your place in the loving arms of God. God has promised He will never leave you nor forsake you, and because of this, you can boldly declare that He is your helper in the midst of troublesome times (Hebrews 13:5-6).
The Scripture above in Zephaniah 3:17 is prophetic and is one to hold on to in such difficult times. (1) Know God is with you. This means that you can confidently know you have a helper in the midst of your turmoil. You may not feel like it’s so, but you operate by faith. So your evidence is based on His promise. (2) Not only is God with you, but “He is mighty to save”. Salvation is an all encompassing word, it means total deliverance. So God is able to deliver you from the trouble, and He will indeed deliver you. (3) He will take great delight in you. This means that as you continually trust Him, His heart will continually be gladdened towards you. Remember without faith it is impossible to please God, for you must approach Him with a confidence that He is a God of integrity (Hebrews 11:6). (4) He will quiet you with His love. Picture a child crying after a traumatic experience, and the mother wraps the child in her arms and embrace and sing a soothing tune. God will quiet you down with His love (5) Finally He will rejoice over you with singing. There’s nothing as beautiful as a shout of joy, and celebration after a battle has been won. This battle will be won by you, and you will have every cause to celebrate.
Stay believing, keep confessing the word, and hold on tight till you win!
