Jeremiah 32:17 (NKJV) “‘Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.”
Sometimes we need to stop and think about the fact that we serve a God who is the creator of the entire heavens and earth, do we sometimes imagine that He may be capable of solving the issues dealt with in life? Maybe it’s not His capability that we doubt, but will He do it for you? The answer to that is YES! God’s promises are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). If you lay hold of what God has said in His Word concerning the situation that you may be facing, all you have to do is hold on to the truth. Your troubles are not too big for God to handle.
Abraham and his wife were well stricken in age, and yet God had promised them that they will have a child, and Sarah laughed…God’s response was “Is there anything too hard for the LORD?” If we would ask ourselves in the midst of troubled times the very same question- knowing that God is willing and able to turnaround your situation- will inspire confidence in our hearts.
It all starts with the Word. When the angel announced to Mary that she would conceive without having a child, she asked the question on how it will happen, and the angel said “nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37). The ISV renders the same Scripture as “Nothing is impossible with respect to any of God’s promises”. Take the word of God and personalize it, and ask yourself the question “is there anything too hard for the LORD?” Answer it and rest in the promises of God, knowing there’s nothing impossible with God!
