Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Every one of us has something that we’re working on. Some dream, project or character improvement, and along the way we run into challenges. Different circumstances challenge us, shake our confidence, telling us that we are incapable of attaining our hearts desires. However, this is a lie; you can do all things through Christ that gives you strength. God has already declared the believer as one who has a default state of victory (2 Cor. 2:14), it is left to the believer to appropriate this reality in life. We do this by being faithful…keep at it! There ought to be a resilient nature that hammers back even harder when situations push.
The Spirit of God that dwells on the inside of a believer is an ever increasing Spirit. The energy and the strength to keep going in life comes from God. The grace of God is that divine enablement from God on behalf of man. Though this grace is available, many fall short of its benefit. We access this grace by faith. The unfortunate thing for many is that they try to find meaning and through an internal dialog, failures are resolved by saying “maybe that’s not what I was supposed to be doing”, but the reality is that all things are possible to the one who can conceive it in their heart (Mark 9:23).
Will you continually apply yourself? Maybe you feel inadequate, or your dreams, hopes and aspirations seem to be fading away. Know that the greater one lives in you, and there’s nothing that’s impossible for you… Situations were never meant to dominate you, but you over circumstances. Keep hammering your way through…cultivate your mental and spiritual faculties discipline yourself, and work harder (1 Cor.9:24-27)
