Dominate Your World (2)
1 John 5:4 NKJV “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—ourfaith.”
The concept of dominion requires that you face circumstances that challenge you and rise above them. But for most people, the thought of confronting challenges is scary. The easier choice is to shrink back in fear with the hope that the situation would correct itself. But for you to be subject to your circumstances is contrary to your destiny in God. Within you is the nature of dominion, and it is quickened by your spiritual alignment with God.
The exercise of your dominion is in you walking by faith. Faith must be cultivated deliberately by defying what your circumstances are saying to you and holding fast to God’s Word. In the beginning when the earth was without form, void and dark, God didn’t panic (Gen.1:1). Being the author of dominion, He released His faith. Where there was darkness, He spoke light. Where there was confusion, He spoke order. Where things were formless, He created by faith through words (Heb.11:3).
Begin to exercise your nature of dominion by holding fast to the Word of God. Choose to speak God’s Word in the face of adversity. Have the determination and resolve that you will rise above, because dominion is your destiny.
