You are unstoppable
Isaiah 10:27, NIV “In that day their burden will be lifted from your shoulders, their yoke from your neck; the yoke will be broken because you have grown so fat”
Circus elephants at an early age have their feet bound with strong chains to a large beam. They pull and yank and strain and struggle, but the chain is too strong for them to break free. Eventually, the young elephant gives up because it has been conditioned by the experience to be restrained. From that day forward the elephant can be “chained” with a slender rope even when it grows to be over 3 tons. Though it has the strength to pull the whole circus tent over, it stops trying at the slightest resistance because it believes it cannot.
In Isaiah 10:27 the prophet describes a situation in which the nation of Israel will be delivered from the oppression of the Assyrians. Before the coming of the Deliverer, they were yoked and under the burden of the Assyrians. Once the Deliverer came, prosperity followed, and they grew fat. Hence the yoke was broken of their necks. Because of the fatness, they had the physical stature to challenge the Assyrians in battle. The word ‘fat’ means the anointing.
Not recognizing that they are anointed, many people today are still carrying burdens, and like the circus elephant they are being yoked by an illusionary chain. The day you entered into Christ, the anointing broke the chains of darkness that kept you bound. In Colossians 1:13, Scripture reveals that you have been delivered from the bondage of darkness. This means that your life is without limits. You are a thousand times bigger on the inside than you are on the outside, and every step of faith you take would be destructive to the kingdom of darkness.
Don’t let the devil keep you bound; act in faith and begin to defy situations that you have wrongly believed were impossible.
