1 Cor. 3:21 NKJV “So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours”
As one reads through the epistles, you will find that the letters never encouraged the church to believe. Rather the epistles read as letters unfolding the wealth of resources that have been wrought for the Christian in Christ Jesus. This was the essence of Paul’s prayer for the church in Ephesians 1:17-20, he prays that the church may know and understand “what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe” (1:19 AMP). It is evident that once the church knows and understands, then believing will happen automatically.
As believers, our lifestyle ought to be one that embraces with confidence what God’s Word reveals concerning us. The Scripture above reveals that all things belong to us. Every single resource of the heavens is ours as Christians. Many people struggle with embracing the realities of God’s Word because they lack knowledge and understanding of the Word. We haven’t spent enough time researching by the help of the Holy Spirit what the heart of God is as you read the Scriptures. The attitude we show to the Word of God is what determines our experiences of what it reveals to us.
Are you faced with a challenge? Even though it looks impossible, remember that all things are yours. Let that dominate your thinking. Go in search of God’s Word to find out what “things” are yours. As you find them, approach God in prayer because they belong to you. You have a right to draw on those resources and live the fullness of life that God intends for you.
