When God created man in the Garden and gave him the dominion mandate as seen in Genesis 1:26-28, He expected man to fill the earth with life of Eden, and this mandate still exists. The restoration process of the blessing and the dominion mandate begun when God started out afresh and He spoke the same words He spoke Adam to Noah and his sons (Genesis 9:1. This blessing has been carried from Noah, to Shem, to Abraham up to the point of Jesus, in whom is the fullness of the blessing, and the answer to the restoration of God’s physical kingdom on earth (Eden).
Jesus in His great commission to us commanded that we spread the gospel of the kingdom to all nations of the world, and this is the restoration of the will of God on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
Eden life is an organization that was born out of a revelation of this Great Commission truth in light of God’s original intention for creation as seen in Genesis 1:26,28. We are dedicated at teaching people of all works of like principles based on our fundamental teachings, that will enable them excel and live a prosperous life. The main focus of Eden Life is to take people back to the place in the beginning at The Garden of Eden (Restoration of the Edenic Glory). The bible describes The Garden as a place of complete wholeness, peace, prosperity and all round serenity. All that man ever needed was available in The Garden. We believe the earth as it was in the Garden is God’s taste, the fullness of the earth’s beauty may help to create a mental picture of The Garden of Eden.
We believe Eden has been restored in the hearts of men, and when there’s an overflow of this “Eden Life” from our hearts, we begin to establish Eden as a physical garden in our surroundings.
Vision: The vision of Eden Life is the restoration of the Glory as it was in the Garden of Eden. Lives and families that are characterized with bodily health, financial prosperity, holiness, love, divine wisdom for all situations, and a heart that gives to meet the needs of others.
Mission: Eden Life will achieve the restoration of the Edenic Glory through primarily by establishing the gospel of Christ in the hearts of man, to restore Eden first in the hearts of mankind, as well as impacting the socio-economic world so as to bring a systemic change in the way businesses are run in the community as well as facilitate a healthy social environment. We will establish small groups and teaching centers through which we will:
- Create a dependency on the Holy Spirit for wisdom, direction, power by practical teachings on His person
- Set a standard against injustice and unrighteousness in society
- Establish college students in the formative years of life Edenic principles
- Raise people that will be a spiritual and economic force to be reckoned with by teaching principles from the Bible and establishing them in businesses
At Eden Life we have a vision to impact 1 Billion lives with this initiative. By faith we will seed the kingdom in the hearts of as many people as we can in this generation, and we will leave a heritage for generations to come. This organization has a goal to impact a billion lives because, it is not a man made vision. It reflects the heart of God to have all men saved and come to the knowledge of truth, Christ died for the sins of the world (John 3:16, 2 Peter 3:9). With a vision bigger than every individual member of the initiative, it provides the opportunity for our partners and all members to grow into the vision, and with the right actions, it is guaranteed to carry on continually.
What is “the restoration of the Edenic Glory?”
Genesis 1:26 reveals that God created man in His image and in His likeness, and God makes a crucial statement in the creation of man saying “let them have dominion.” In the image of God was man made, a fearfully and wonderfully made spirit being reproduced in His form, in His likeness as a god, one with dominion, rulership, characterized by the attribute of God Himself. Mankind was created as an author to facilitate the extension of God’s Eternal Kingdom in a visible world (the dominion mandate).
“God formed man out of the dust of the earth, and He breathed the breath of [Eternal] Life into man”, and it was at this point man became like God (Genesis 2:7). Like God man in his Garden could say “let there be” and it would be in his domain, he was filled with the Life of God, overflowing with this life to the point the glory of God was made manifest in the Garden. It was this Life that facilitated Adam’s communion with the Father, Adam knew the perfect will of God, understood the heart of God and was in perfect fellowship with God. He was encircled with the glory of God, an overflow of God’s eternal life in him (Psalm 8:5).
Genesis 1:28 provides another revelatory knowledge to the creation of man, we see that “God blessed them, and said…” The blessing which was God supernatural ability to prosper in an area of calling, was pronounced on mankind to enable man fulfill this dominion mandate.
We know God to operate on a basic law of “seed time and harvest”, God created the earth and made a garden (Eden) in which He placed man in and expected for man to propagate this Garden round the entire earth. We can conclude that the Garden of Eden as it was known in the beginning was expected by God to be the worst condition mankind ever faced, because in God life progresses from glory to a greater measure of glory. From the creation of man, we see three vital components from God, firstly man had the Life of God (i.e. Eternal Life), he was given dominion (i.e. Spiritual Authority) and finally by the proclamation of God’s word, he was empowered to fulfill the dominion mandate (i.e. The Blessing). These three elements were the key to man’s success on earth.
In Genesis 3, we witness the horrific fall of man. Man lost all three vital elements, he died and was separated from the Life of God, he lost his position as the author of this world, thereby making the devil the god of this world, and he lost the blessing because the ground was cursed because of him. Every one born of man and woman was born into this fallen state. Without these three elements, the condition of the earth deteriorated with wickedness and perversion being spread as a result of the devil’s control through man. God did not leave mankind without hope, but provided a solution for redemption of mankind back to Himself up to that point the world was in groans.
Romans 8:19-21, NLT, explicitly paints this picture:
“19 For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. 20 Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, 21 the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.”
This anticipated future day is now! In Christ Jesus, all elements that were lost in the Garden have been restored.
- Eternal Life has been restored (see also John 3:16) John 5:24” Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”
- Spiritual Authority has been restored because Christ has overcome the devil and his princes, and He has made us “complete in Him” (Hebrews 2:14, Colossians 1:9,10; 2:14-15)
- The Blessing has been restored in its fullness, Ephesians 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (see also Galatians 3:13)
Eden has been restored in the heart of those who believe, and Christ turns us out in Matthew 28:18-20 once again with the dominion mandate saying to “Go into all the world”, so as to spread the gospel of the kingdom, a gospel of the restoration of the Edenic Glory. The fullness of eternity has been restored in the heart of the believing one (Ecclesiastes 3:11), it is expected that an overflow should happen into our surroundings. A physical Eden can be restored firstly in our bodies, then our homes, to the neighborhood….to the ends of the earth. All that Heaven connotes is expected around us, righteousness, peace and joy in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. With the restoration of eternal life, spiritual authority and the blessing we have what is needed to propagate God’s Garden on this earth; this is the restoration of the Edenic Glory.
