Psalm 51:6 NKJV “Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.”
Despite the sin and destruction in the world today, God expects that as believer’s we stand out and shine as light in the midst of darkness. The sin problem has been effectively dealt with by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When a person accepts the Lordship of Jesus Christ, there is a heart change. This process is called the New Birth. He or she becomes born again (John 3:3-6). The born again experience (or New Birth) indicates that there is a change in the heart nature.
The believer is no longer subject to sin (Rom.6:14). God’s desire is for us to live a life of truth. Truth refers to principles of God’s Word; it is the foundation of good success and strength in any society. To have truth in your heart is to live by the wisdom of God. It will preserve your soul from destruction.
Always check your heart to be sure that you are being faithful to the principles of God. You can deceive everyone else with your actions, but the Spirit of God within will always prompt your heart in the right direction. When faced with difficult situations, always ask God for the wisdom to handle the situation so you keep a pure heart, and God will deliver accordingly.
