Micah 4:1 NIV “Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it.”
For every of God’s people there is prophecy that speaks to the fact that they will rise and shine as light (Isa.60:1-3), also that they will be shining stars (Dan.12:3), and they will attain to level of prominence (Mic.4:1). But if this is all true, why aren’t we seeing many people who profess God in areas of great prominence? The issue is probably because many have not put action to their faith, and many don’t even believe that these prophecies are for them.
When God speaks, it requires a faith response from us. Faith receives with the heart what God says. It is to accept with deep conviction even though the Word spoken appears impossible. On the other hand, faith is manifested by an active, persevering use of means; “faith without works is dead” (Jam.2:2). In essence if these prophecies are to become realities in our lives, we must persistently apply ourselves to attain to levels of prominence in all that we do.
It is said concerning Daniel and his three Hebrew friends that, “in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm” (Dan.1:20). Many get hung up on that, but rarely recognize that “the king instructed Ashpenaz, the master of his eunuchs, to bring some of the…young men in whom there was no blemish, but good-looking, gifted in all wisdom, possessing knowledge and quick to understand…” (Dan.1:4). They were good at what they did, and the ten times better anointing rested on them.
Lay hold of these prophecies concerning you, anchor your heart to them, and strongly believe them as you persistently apply yourself to see them become your reality!
